Opened 13 years ago by two brothers, Juan Emilio and Gustavo Bru, the Caro is located on an historic site where a Roman Forum housing charioteers once stood more than two thousand years ago. The brothers have cleverly transformed such historical elements into striking features, thus creating a blend of minimalist contemporary design with preserved historical features such as arches, walls and mosaics.
